Need help making XVCD

Hi,
my player can accept 720x480 and 2300cbr xvcd , but not svcd.

But everytime im trying to make some, im getting the audio out of synch.

I tried everything:
1- dvdx-frameserve-tmpgenc
2- flask-framserve-tmpgenc
3- dvd2avi-vfap-toolame-virtuadub-frameserve-tmpgenc.

i tried to multiplex the audio & video with bbmpeg and tmpgenc, always the same result.

With everytime the synch problem.
Im using the latest version of all programs, i did a clean install of winxp too.
Do i miss something?
Do i have to modify the audio too when making xvcd? Because im always leaving the default vcd settings for the audio.

I hope someone can guide me in the making of my xvcd, or point me to a good tutorial. Because, right now, all i can do is a standard vcd .

how do you multiplex the streams if at all? encoding video & audio in the same operation always resulted in certain amount of async for me

when multiplexing are any dts/pts timestamp errors generated? granted, this will only affect sync in a standalone dvdplayer if at all. did you multiplex as vcd or mpeg1? forced mux rate 0? did you author this same project as a standard vcd previously & with what result?

Yes, theres a lot of error in bbmpeg.
And the synch problem is with the media player too, not only with my standalone player.
I tried both multiplexing setting: as vcd and as mpeg1.
I tired to forced the mux rate to 0 too.
And with a standard vcd everything is fine.

I really dont know why i get such a result

Have you checked to make sure you don't have an audio offset that isnt being handled? Typically some of the programs you've mentioned using should handle it automatically, but worth checking into.
