Simplest way - demux the video and create a new DVD with your new audio. Any method to actually replace the audio in an existing DVD while keeping everything else intact will be complex and fiddly.

  3. Yep.
    1. Demux (PGCDemux)
    2. Replace the audio while remuxing (Muxman)
    3. If necessary or wanted, replace the new DVD back into the original, thus keeping the menus and any extras (VobBlanker)

  4. I got a PM from phillbrett68 asking for details.

Go to Method 2 of Baldrick's subtitle replacement guide:

    https://forum.videohelp.com/topic338721.html

It's about replacing subtitles, but the principle's the same. In the first PGCDemux pic, tick Mode->By PGC rather than by VOB ID. After demuxing you'll have all the original pieces. Dump the original audio for your new one. In the Muxman step, make sure to use the Celltimes.txt (the chapters) by loading it in File->Import Chapter. Load the video, your new audio, the subs if any, give it a destination and Start. When done you'll have a DVD of your movie only, with the new audio. No menus or anything else yet. Test it out in a software player like PowerDVD to make sure everything checks out. Then go on to the VobBlanker step. Test the DVD again when done, before burning to disc using ImgBurn.

You can't remove the music, as it is mixed into the audio track. Premiere Pro may have been used in the editing and audio mixing stage, but it won't help you here.

If you have an audio track with vocals and music, and you don't want the music, then you will have to get the original audio without the music. Otherwise there is little else you can do.

  9. Maybe tell us what isn't working and at what stage of the replace process you're in. Error messages, logs, and the like, would help greatly. We're good, but not clairvoyant.

If by "it doesn't work" you mean "I can't remove only the music," that's the expected result. As the others said, you only have a single audio track. So, your choices are limited to: 1) live with it; 2) Replace the ENTIRE audio track with an entirely new one; 3) Watch it in silence. Really, those are it.

You want a fourth option, "undo the addition of the crappy music." But that's not an option. You cannot unscramble an egg, and your audio is a scrambled egg.

If you have been trying option 2, and THAT isn't working, then we can help. Just do as manono says, and tell us exactly what you've been trying, and where things fail. We're neither clairvoyant nor telepathic. Don't make us guess.
