    We have a movie on a harddrive that is 7.4gb. How do we split this into two equal parts and leave the parts on the harddrive. The movie is in the VIDEO_TS format. Simply shrinking is not desirable.

    Two free programs that will do that are the easy to obtain DVD Shrink 3.2 and the less easy to obtain very early versions of DVD Fab. Both are easy to use. With Shrink you just split it where you want and end up with 2 movies. The front half and the end. The newer versions of DVD Fab still do the split, but now that function is no longer free.
