  1. Im pretty new at this and need to find a good easy way to correct the sync problems on VCDs. My dvd player doesn't support SVCD so I use VCD. Everytime I burn videos I end up with a sync problem. I can never really see it on my computer but once I pop it in the DVD player its a real kick in the balls. Isn't there a good enough prog/template that can keep the sound and video at the same rate???? I don't know but its a real pisser when you spend time on a VCD only to find that half way through it , or sometimes sooner, the sound goes crap.
ANY Help would be greatly appreciated.
    THANX

  2. It would be helpful if you actually posted on what method you used to create your VCD, what settings you had, etc., and your hardware player details as well...

A common cause for A/V sync issues is in problems with multiplexing. Usually remuxing with TMPGEnc (on MPEG-1 Video-CD setting) or with bbMPEG will fix that.

XVCDs can also cause A/V sync problems on some players.

  3. i recommend using bbmpeg to mux files as it seems the most compliant (or use the vcdtoolkit muxer which is kinda buggy on what files it accepts but produces and absolutely compliant file) as i have even got the vcdtoolkit to accept bbmpeg muxed files and it is VERY stringent
