    That about summarizes it.
    I need to do some minor tweaks to the aspect ratio and resizing so the videos will full screen. Then have them outputted in a format that will work smoothly with GUIforDVDauthor. I have means of doing it now but I would prefer it if I could do it in one process rather than process a batch then when thats done process them again. I hope that makes sense.

    One option might be FAVC. It also authors, but fairly basic. If you just need to encode to MPEG, then HC is a good choice in freeware.
