    Sorry, guys, the search function isn't working.

    I'm just wondering about getting some PAL dvds (some stuff just isn't available in ntsc). If I rip said PAL dvd using dvd2svcd, is it necessary to convert this to ntsc? Or will the resulting svcd be watchable by all? Or is this even possible? Will dvd2svcd rip a PAL dvd?

    Ok, that's all my questions for now.

    my dvdplayer will play pal vcds on my ntsc tv fine(i'd assume svcd also). check your player manual to see if there is a setting

    a)no, there's no setting on my regular dvd player. I personally have a dvd player with a convertor, but not everyone does. It will play pal vcds, but I'm really wondering about svcds.

    b)Has anyone tried using dvd2vcd on pal dvds?
