Apologies if I'm in the wrong place

I have been experimenting with movie on my lx3 digital camera to establish if it is worth taking on a trip instead of my sony dcr pc100e.
So far I haven't got good results. Can anyone suggest what settings should be used to avoid that jerky look I'm getting
I'm recording at the various qualities available on to a sandisk 4gb extreme111 class 6

Any ideas or should I keep it for stills and lug the Sony with me?

    Thanks in advance.

It only records at 24 fps (highest resolution) or 30 fps (all others). So there isn't anything you can do to make it any better. I would suspect it looks fine unless you are panning, then it would appear to be stuttering.

    Thanks for your reply

I am sure you are right, I just wondered if there might be a way to smooth things out via imovie perhaps
