  1. Ok i got parts of a dvd i want to make slow motion clips of. Whats the best way to do this? My dvd viewer can take screen caps and save them as jpgs. Can i use those as single frames and make a mpg out of them? I'm completely new to all this and any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  2. Do you want to make a slide show of the stills, or just play back a clip from a DVD in slow motion?

If #1, the capture everything and then use the VCD Slide show guides to the left (under 'Author').

If #2, just rip DVD as normal then use a program to slow down/speed up the video (eg. MovieXone, Ulead Video Studio, Adobe Premerie, etc).

  3. Basically i want to get a slow motion mpg of a scene on a dvd..I'd rather not rip it because i've never ripped one and the screen captures are better resolutions. A mpg slideshow sounds like is what i'm looking for, as long as it switches photos fast enough to look like slow motion..hope that made sense
