    Hi guys/gals,

Got the usual "PS3 won't play subtitles" issue, so i figure, demux mt2s into .264 video and pgs (presentation graphics stream) and mash the 2 together, then remux .264 back into a mt2s with the audio.

    1. What the hell is .264 (guess it's either an AVI or MPEG4)

    2. How can I mash these 2 elements together hopefully without reencoding the whole lot...but if I do have to reencode, i'd really like not to lose any video quality.

Thanks in advance for you help.

    1. It's the video stream in h264 format.
    2. If you want hardcoded subs you must reconvert. Use suprip to convert the blu-ray sup to srt. Load the m2ts in ripbot264 or xvid4psp and the srt subtitle and convert to mp4.

And this is no digitaltv. Moving you.
