    everything played fine but when it was close to the end it froze?

    i was thinking maybe i added to many chapters ? 40+ chapters?

    is their a limit to how many chapters theirs in a movie?

    i am using verbatim dvd+r dl..never had this problem

    one more thing the original size of the movie was 11.4gb and i authored it to fit and 8.5 dvd

    It's possible you had a bad burn and yes there's a limit of 99 chapters per title.I would use DVDShrink(set it to DVD-9 and DVD file mode) to make sure it will fit on a DVD-9 then burn using ImgBurn in build mode.
