Hi, with some help from here I can now edit a .TS file that I have recording.

I use first DGIndex to see how much delay it is and then with Avidemux I use to edit the .TS file add the delay and save it as Xvid.

But I have a problem but I also have a question.

My problem is that it feel sometime in the file the is still out off sync even after I have change shift with that information I got from DGIndex. This is the best I can do right now if that is no program that can open a .TS file, edit and save it in sync.

The question I have is why do I get it out of sync when I edit the .TS file and save it as Xvid but not when I play the .TS file?
Is that the program (Avidemux) that have a little problem with .TS or is that something else?

VideoRedo will keep the file in sync.

I don't have any samples over 2GB to test but you might try using Mpeg2Cut2 to cut parts out and use DGIndex to create the D2v to serve to Virtualdub with AVS script. I get an error when opening my .ts in Mpeg2Cut2 that it doesn't fully support ts files but it saves the file alright.

If you're just opening the ts file in Avidemux (or Virtualdub) then you'll get the sync issues as I do when I open my Mpeg Program Streams but if you use DGIndex to create the .d2v and use the instructions in the DGMPGDec manual to build the AVS file then everything should be in sync.

You may be able to skip the first step and just open the AVS file in Virtualdub and do the cuts there. I won't know for sure until next week when I capture my next game and maybe a TV show.

Soopafresh can probably confirm or disprove this since he is the expert on on this HD stuff.
