    Is it because I'm not searching correctly or is the list simply four years old? I'm happy with the pseudo Panosonic (ASUS) but would have thought there might have been more on DVD or even blu ray that was current on the hardware front ~Burners, on the site?

    It's probably me, so enjoy the stupid moment

    Are you looking for dvd burners/blu-ray-rom for computers? Most of the newer drives are listed in dvd rewriter section.
