hi everyone
maybe someone of you has a solution for my sound problems in sony vegas.![]()
I had some IFO, BUP and vob files, unfortunately in the wrong language. So i changed the language with ifoedit by putting German on channel 1 and excluding all other languages.
These changed vob files i could open in sony vegas and I HAD THE RIGHT LANGUAGE.
However when i started to cut, delete parts or simlpy jump within the track.....my sound was gone and didn't come back.![]()

I guess the problem lies with ifoedit....
maybe it need the beginning of every track to follow an order of sound and picture.

thanx,
i already tried something similar.
"use dvdshrink to extract the movie with only the german audio"this was the first thing that came to my mind, however a problem lies with the dvd which is an older and cheap version, if you choose only the 2 Channel (not the main channel) you won't have any sound neither on windows media player or in sony vegas. Thats because of the DVD.
So with ifoedit you get the 2Channel however with the already described problems.
If i convert the vob files to avi files, i don't have a video track, I guess it is no diffrence to converting to mpeg.
Any other idea??? Or am i just silly and make a stupid mistake i am not aware of?
Thanks in advance.
