I am looking for something that will play music and video remotely over a wifi connection. It dosn't necisarily have to be a PMP, I will be mounting it. I just want it to access the video and audio off my network and be able to play them without being choppy.
I have been looking at the Archos line of products and I can't find any reviews that actually tested the unit for streaming media through the wifi connection. I just dont want to end up with something that will be choppy.
I looked at viewsonic airpanel, but from what I could tell the audio and video over the wifi are crap.
any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

The only way to know for sure, would be to test it. Most likely, any video streaming will be prone to choppiness...at least any video of decent quality. WiFi just doesn't have the bandwidth needed.
