I have a blu-ray burner, a Mediagate media player connected to my plasma HD TV, and just purchased Planet Earth on blu-ray.
The Mediagate MG-350HD plays WMV-HD and MPEG2 HD very well (outputs to 1080p via DVI) and also handles TP/TS/TRP files (among others) from its internal harddrive
So my questions: How do I transfer the blu-ray disc content to my computer HDD (guides?) and secondly, will the Mediagate be able to see and play this content ??

    Thanks in advance...

It claims to support MP4 HD,

    # Supports HD MP2, MP4 and WMV9
    # Supports MP1/2@HL (720p/1,080i), MP4@L5 (720p) and WMV9 MP@ML (720p)
    So try convert to MP4 H264 720p using Ripbot264, https://www.videohelp.com/guides/how-to-backup-and-convert-blu-ray-to-mp4-hd-or-mkv-hd-id1094#1094
