  1. Lol, sorry if I'm being a post-aholic, but I have many problems with my analog videos that I would like to resolve

It's not really a big deal, but when I record analog video game footage with my Aiptek A-HD+ 1080p camcorder, the produced video is a little brighter than the TV actually is. I tried adjusting the camcorder's LCD brightness, that didn't do anything really, and there's nothing else I can seem to do to resolve this issue.

I was thinking maybe if I lower my TV's brightness to match what the video game looked like on the TV before I lowered it, on the camcorder's LCD, so the camcorder wouldn't record it so bright. Do u think that will work? Is it a brightness issue, or is it something else like 'tint' or 'sharpness' or watever, can someone tell me wat I need to adjust? Thx.

Are you pointing the camera at a game monitor? If so, adjusting the viewfinder brightness does nothing but hide the problem. Set it back to default. Then adjust the camera exposure (if possible) or adjust the game monitor brightness and contrast for best result. The setting the cam likes may be too dim for your taste.

No, I said I was recording analog video with the camcorder. I'm not pointing it at the TV. Analog video is when ur recording the video game through a camcorder + AV cables, or more commonly used, a capture card.

Sorry, I had no idea the Aiptek A-HD+ 1080p camcorder could record SD analog. I was almost certain that it couldn't.

I see now it can capture some sort of analog to square pixel 640x480.

    "AV-IN
    YES, Record at 640 x 480 (VGA) "

Does it have any levels control in the menus? How does it do off a known good analog source?

Do you have a link to the manual?

No, u can only adjust the LCD brightness and the exposure, but they both don't affect the analog video.

Umm, for the manual, I don't think I can get u a LINK, but I could archive the manual in a .zip folder, host it on RapidShare, then send u the download link. It should work if it's an independent file. I'll try it tomorrow if I can remember.
