  1. Hi everyone,

I've just replaced my old TV capture card with a DC10+ card, when I start VirtualDub it still list the old capture card. This is OK when I can swap capture card, but when I use Premier it says it cannot connect to the (old) capture card and I cannot chose the DC10+. How do I completely remove the old capture????

    Thanks

    Andrew

Check your Computer Properties and hardware list. If it's there remove it.
    or
Goto Start - Settings - Control Panel - Multimedia. If your old card is listed remove it.
    or
Goto the site http://www.pinnaclesys.com/support/display.asp?FileID=73&ProductID=307 and download the file regdelete.exe and follow the instructions on the site. It will remove all the registry entities for capture cards including DC10+. You need to install you DC10+ again after using this. I have tried that and it removed my old card completely and after installing DC10+ software/drivers it worked with no problems.

    Hopefully this helps.
