cant burn to +rw in convert x to dvd

first off i want to say hi to all

ok i have a hp dvd writer 1040r ok i use dvd santa to convert and it writes

to a dvd+rw ok here the prob i want to use convert x to dvd

it converts all good but when its time to write to a dvd+rw it says
needs to be diffrent media like dvd +r i want to use +rw is there a setting i can change so i can burn to the +rw.

dvd santa will write to a +rw please help ty all crash

Let ConvertXtoDVD create the files on your HDD, then burn with Imgburn. It is a far better burning application anyway.

im going to try this out when i save movie and convert with convert x to dvd save file to desktop than i open image burn.do i make sure its in write mode? than i find the file i converted and write it correct? i ty so much
