Hi guys
i have some divx movies that are 25fps and i have a Toshiba sd4100 divx dvd player that is set for NSTC I was wondering if i had to convert the divx movies or can i just play them on the divx player without converting.. I know there is a region hack to make the player region free but i dunno if it will damage my player i just bought it

If your DVD player can play PAL DVDs, you shouldn't need to change the frame rate. I have an old Philips DVD player that supports Divx and it plays 25 fps Divx files with no problems and I live in the USA.
A region free hack shouldn't damage your player, but if you enter the wrong codes to make your player region free, bad things might happen. -
I hope you realize that NTSC/PAL and region coding has nothing to do with each other.
First two are TV standards, has to do with frame rate and other things, region is related to part of the world you live in. You can have DVD region free (all region) and still not play on NTSC TV if it is PAL DVD, unless you or your player can convert it. -
Divx DVD players are very forgiving of frame rates. You should have no problem playing a 25 fps video on an NTSC TV. The video might be a little jerky depending on how your player converts frame rates.
