After clicking encode (trp to dvi) I hear the DING! and get a finished text in the progress window but there is no file to be found. What point am I missing here?

    Here is the Process Information:

The logfile indicates that it encountered an unexpected EOF marker. That caused the program to terminate before it really got going.

You might have some luck using MPEG Streamclip to convert the TS into a "regular" MPEG file. Since this is just a file format change, not a re-encoding operation, you don't need the MPEG2 component (so ignore any error messages you get). Then take that MPEG and try again.

Or, if you do have the MPEG2 component, you can use Streamclip to convert into DV directly. Your choice.

Hope that helps. Post back if it doesn't.
