    How often i SHOULD use a cleaning disc to clean the DVD player lens? My player is now about 8 months old and i watch movies quite often.

    Or should i use it ONLY, if there starts to be skipping or some other problems?

    Don't clean the lens until it needs it. Over cleaning can scratch the lens. They don't usually need cleaned for a few years, unless you smoke or live in a dusty environment. DVD players aren't like VCRs that needed cleaning because the tape touched the heads.
