    I have a divx movie that plays fine in media player. However when I convert with tmpeg to mpeg, the audio is out of sync!

    then your doing something wrong. post more information like the original DivX files specifications, what template you are using in TMPGEnc and the steps you are following.

    if you are unsure of this information then perhaps you should do more reading before asking.
