How long are the episodes? You should be able to get six or eight hours on a DVD at 1/2D1 or even lower, VCD resolutions. And you don't have resort to non-standard KDVD templates.

That said, Nero is probably not a good tool for this. A real encoder would likely do much better. I used the payware TMPGEnc encoder in the past at 1/2D1 for six hours of VHS video converted to DVD. Or for VCD resolutions, it's freeware. And if your really, really want KDVD, TMPEGnc has templates probably still available.

If you don't need standard set top DVD compatible discs, Xvid or H.264 or WMV are better options for low bitrate/long files. KDVDs are only sometimes compatible with set top players.

    And welcome to our forums.

Author with something that will not re-encode, then burn with Imgburn.

    Try GUIForDVDAuthor.

Yes, if your data disc Divx/Xvid files meet the Divx specifications for your Divx player. Programs like AutoGK and others create files to those specifications. Or you can take a non-compliant Divx/Xvid file and run it through AVI ReComp and it should fix it.

But most Divx files off the net should play properly.
