Hi, For a long time I was using ConvertxtoDVD to convert then burn my dvds. All of a sudden the sound started getting off track with the video on a few of my dvds. Then it got to where the sound is off and my 360 wont even read it, It will usually play halfway through then the 360 always "attempts to read media" which is really annoying and I don't wait long before stopping the movie. I tried another program and the dvd I burned worked with two episodes but then the same problem, it couldn't read the dvd. I have an ASUS dvd burner and use memorex dvds. Any help would be great. Thanks.

It sounds like a media problem so I would first try another brand of media.

Memorex is not horrible media, but it ain't great. Either try a different brand, as Baldrick suggests, or try slower-speed burns. With cheap media, you'll generally get more satisfactory results burning at a notch or two below the maximum rate printed on the package. So if you've got 16x media, burn it at 8x, and see if you get better results. Then go out and buy some Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden media.

Ill get some different dvds and try that, I've been burning at 4x and I buy the 100 pack of memorex dvds. I used over half of those before having problems. I will buy a different brand in a few days and see if that helps. Thanks!

    Read www.nomorecoasters.com before shopping

I suggest VERBATIM (made anywhere) or SONY (made in Taiwan) or TAIYO YUDEN (online)
