    Hi,

I have a small video file about 20MB file in FLV format. I want to shrink it down to 3MB or so or convert it down to that size.

I want it to be in the flv format at the end.

I am looking for a converter that will run on Ubuntu. Any idea?

    Thanks, that works great.

I am trying to mess around with the video setting, sampling different video & audio setting.

Which one I should choose for video & audio whick will shrink my file size down?

    Current, it's always increase.

    Input Format: FLV
    Output Format: FLV

Use the built in calculator the calculate the bitrate so it will be 3MB.
Under video choose FLV1, click configure and change the bitrate.
Under audio choose mp3, click configure and change the bitrate.
    Under format choose FLV.

You could also use h264/x264 with aac audio and put into a mp4 and it will work with latest flash player.
