    Hi,
I've tried to search info whatever it is possible to convert the DVD to MKV (matroska) preserving menus, subtitles, etc (simpy said 1:1)... But I haven't found any guide with this topic. So my question is if it is possible and if yes if there are some guides with this topic.

    thanks

If it is possible, I have never seen it done. I don't believe matroska supports all the features. The closest I have seen is the ill-fated ratDVD format, and more recently but no less ill-fated .Divx Ultra format.

I've never heard of any support in MKV for menus. Subtitles - yes. Menus - no.
