What do you folks think of the Fusion cards compared to the tuners from ATI or Happaguage?
They have a USA version dual tuner which I am interested in.

I have a fusion hdtv 3 gold t pci card. It performs very well. I also had a hauppauge wintv pvr 250. I had sold the wintv on ebay because I didn't need it anymore. Wouldn't you know I ended up buying a usb tv tuner later after I sold it?
The wintv was just fine also, it was just analog not hdtv, thats why I got the fusion card.

I have had a HDTV 5 Gold since it was introduced (about four years, I think).
I have it in a Media Center PC driving my plasma TV. It is, in my opinion, the finest tuner/capture card on the market. Another engineer and I ran tests on ten different devices and we both agreed that the Fusion card was the hottest turner and the best capture card. Before I bought mine, I borrowed an ATI card and decided that I was going to have to install a new antenna on my 70' tower to have good reception. I live 37 miles from the antennas and am surrounded by 80'+ trees. Reception with the Fusion cars is so good that I am still using my 35 year old antenna at about 25'.
Video capture from VHS is very good with excellent resolution; again the best of all the devices tested. I am building a new computer for a friend and am going with the new HDTV 7 RT Gold Dual Express. It is the best hardware investment I have made in over twenty years of computering.
If you haven't already figured out yet, I HIGHLY recommend it! -
I'm using a MyTV MDP-130 HDTV card at present. I also have a Fusion 5 Gold card that is broken at the moment. I liked the Fusion card, but it was difficult to set up. In it's favor, the software was updated often. The MDP-130 works with Vista, just barely.
No Vista drivers exist for it. I never tried the Fusion card with Vista.

If I can ever manage to reattach the surface mounted part I broke off the card, I would rather go back to the Fusion. The MyHD card is frustrating with Vista. The worst problem is trying to bring the computer out of 'Sleep' causes a BSOD with Vista.
This is because of the IR driver for the card. Since the IR device doesn't work anyway, and the driver can't be removed, it's doubly frustrating.
