My leadtek capture card got it's audio when using the tuner from a 4pin connector cable. You had to run the cable from the card to the cd in on the motherboard or aux in on a sound card. I'm looking around for a new card now and have some questions. Is that how most capture cards work with audio? Do some capture cards get audio from the RF tuner connection? I would like to know mostly because I want to use my motherboard's intergrated sound and there is only so many connections for that. Thanks for any help....

You need to get more specific on type of tuner or capture card. They vary. Newer digital cards can transfer audio over PCI. Others need to use line in, CD in, Aux in direct connections.
