  1. Greetings,

Just curious about something. Are Harmon Kardon products any good anymore?

I remember back in the day, companies like Harmon Kardon and Marantz were really good. Im just curious to know if their stuff is still as good as it used to be.

    Thanks guys.

I've got a factory fit option Harmon Kardon speaker system in my motor

pretty good sound from it but it's a 1999 model plus I need a better car radio to give it what it deserves as the basic BMW car radio isn't the greatest

  6. I realized I could have gone to google (and I did prior to posting) but I was just curious if anyone in here and any experience with them.

Its one thing to read random reviews from people I dont know. Its another to read things by people I "know and trust" like the folks in here.

I have been thinking of upgrading my current system (Kenwood thats about 12 years old, give or take) and I came across the HK AVR series. The 354 looks really nice. Not sure what speakers I would get but Polk Audio seem to have some nice ones, as do B&W.

Its no big deal really .. I was just curious to know what you all thought

I don't know about their electronics nowadays but their speaker elements are not bad at all.

I know HK was the shiznitiest back in the day, but really haven't heard much about them in recent years.
The highly over-rated and incredibly overpriced Bose has taken the lion's share of the spotlight...

  9. I agree XTD."Blows" is overpriced,and not that good

But I've always felt the same way about Harmon kardon. All eye candy and not enough substance.

Now Wharfedale,Beveridge,BIC and James B.Lansing ...that's another story

I suppose that will do, but not what I was going for!

I just noticed your signature -- I LOVE IT!! That kind of thinking really pisses some people off around here...

I like Dennis Miller's sarcasm.I was hooked on his HBO show until they took it off.If it pisses someone off,I invite them to not look at it again.
