Someone has given me three mini DVD-RWs of a wedding that they want put onto one DVD. It looks as if they used the software that came with their DVD camcorder to create a menu for the clips. The trouble is you can only view one clip, and it then goes back to the menu.

What I want to do is to be able to take all the clips from the three disks, combine them and then replace the menu with a similar one, but will continue to play the following clips, rather than going back to the menu again. There appears to be dozens of products available for editing, but I'm hoping to find one that will pick up with clips automatically from their timeframes or from a scene change. Any suggestions?

Thanks for that. It worked a treat. I had already downloaded and tested about six other applications before making the original post, and in the long run, I didn't have to.

For some obscure reason, the first disk was only reporting that it has two chapters, one just over 2 minutes and one just over a minute long. From the thumbnails, the first was from the first clip and the second was about half way through. I assumed there was a problem with the software and moved onto the next one. I never thought of just trying it to see what happened, but did for TMPG DVD Author and it was fine. Strangely enough, the other two disks showed no problems like this at all. Weird!

    Thanks for the help.
