  1. I’ am very confused, what happens.
I got a DiVx and want to convert it to an VCD, normally I use TMPGEnc to encode it and Nero to burn.
It is also possible to do the whole procedure in NERO (5.5.6.4) only. Everything goes well and after the whole conversion process NERO burns a good quality VCD; good sound and a very good quality screen, but it is UPSIDE-DOWN when I play it on my DVD-player.
In the settings from NERO I can't find anything specific to turnaround the screen, who has the solution for this very strange problem.

It seems to be a codec problem. Not sure how to fix it.
But you can frame serve the avi with VirtualDub or Avisynth to TMPG and use a "flip vertical" filter.
