    What type of dvd player has no macrovision so I can record from a dvd to a vhs tape? And can I buy one from a regular store like Circuit City or Best Buy?

    Hi,

    I know my Amoisonic 8506F Doesn't have Macrovision. It's really a great player. Even has 2 scart-ports ( 1 for yer TV and on for yer VCR and is region free/selectable.

    I know these : http://www.dv-rec.de/ people sell them. But i don't know if they sell worldwide.

    I also know some good shops here in the Netherlands that sell em.
