I just downloaded an avi, split in 2 halves. The first half is done and is about 130mb. When I try to open it with WMP it says "class not registered"
When I open it with The Playa it says it's only 1min and 6 secs long. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

sounds to me like you downloaded one of those new fangled renamed asf files that have been going around. go to the codecs section of the tools page on this site and grab the smr patch and see if that helps. if it doesnt then try renaming the file so the extension is asf not avi
peace out,
