    I've got a couple of .avi movies that I would like to put on a single DVD so it can be red in any DVD player, even if it don't have a div-x player. How can I do this in the simplest way. Tried with my Nero burner but it wanted som kind of license or plug in.

  2. You can use an all-in-one converter like one on this page:

    FAVC and DvdFlick are well regarded.

    Best quality entails a lot of trouble doing it manually with individual tools, filtering, etc. You did specify "simplest way". One of the above will do a decent job assuming the quality of the source files is acceptable.

    for some cash , use tmpeg dvd author 3.0 use tmpeg products since 1999 to do all of my video work.
