Onkyo TX-SR606 receiver
Macbook with Win XP
Broadband with ethernet connection
I've watched a couple of movies and shows on Netflix's Play It Now through Internet Explorer and the sound seems to only come out of my center speaker, not even the L/R speakers. I tried both a movie and a TV show (Strange Behavior and Jeremiah Season 2). I have to change my receiver setting to "All Ch Stereo" to get it to utilize every speaker. Is the sound really in mono? I'm not expecting 5.1 sound on streaming video, but stereo would be nice!
The receiver is hooked up to the Macbook through SPDIF. It works with regular DD 5.1 and DTS movies.
Is this just a way to get people to buy that Roku player?

the streams are stereo...sounds like a config issue....likely with the player or your pc Google is your Friend

Thanks, I guess I'll have to fiddle with my PC audio settings. I have no problem with it running 5.1 movies through regular players.
