  1. I have a working mpg file that is very smooth that plays very smooth on my computer. Its a karaoke song...however when i play it on my dvd burner the audio and video is out of sync...can someone please help me ?

  2. you should use virtual dub and get the audio and video out of it then convert it with tnmpeg and if it is still out of sync watch it and find where it is out of sync, u might have to cut the file like a few frames then get the audio and video out of it

  3. Before you go cutting your vids to pieces, make sure your audio, vid bitrate, audio bitrate and vid resolution are within spec for VCD or SVCD. US DVD Players are fussy if you sway out of spec.

  4. i had a similar problem when i tried to copy my MPEG1 files and burn them to VCD. the video and audio were skipping.

    i solved the problem by re-encoding the files in VCD compliant format. I used Nero and those MPEG files took a while but the playback was flawless.
