cdclone help needed

Hi i have tried to make a copy of a vcd with cdclone i made an image file then used cdclone to burn the file back to disc .when checked the disc everything was on it that was on the vcd, i made the image file from .But when i tried to play on my dvd it says no disc can be found,i no the vcd disc is ok because it plays ok on my dvd,so were i have gone wrong? do i need special disc for vcd?.any help would be gratefull

i'd guess your player either will not read cdr media or is very particular about brand and/or burn speed
