    1 > Is there such a thing ? ( I've Heard Rumours !! ) - And if so..... where would I be able to get one from ( UK Resident ) ? - Are there any DVD players capable of playing them ?


    2 > Why is the Quality of a DivX file so superior to VCD.... and in most cases.... much smaller in the MegaByte department ?

    there was indeed rumours of a standalone divx player which some one was trying to make, just using chopped up computer parts in a box etc, but I dont believe it ever got off of the ground and if it did I doubt if it would ever go to the stores mainly because DivX is highly related to piracy.
