    Hi,

Do you think that H.264 is a better option then DivX?
I know that, using the same bitrate, H.264 has a little bit more quality than DivX.
However, DivX seems more widely used and compatible than H.264.

    Which format would you use?

    Thanks,
    Miguel

I think you might have answered your own question there. Divx has been around longer than h264 I believe and has more native support. It would be the better choice if you are unsure of your destination.

With that said if you know what your destination is and can support both codecs than I would say do a test run. Take a video clip and convert it to both formats. Then play it on whatever device you plan on using. Whichever one looks better to you would be the winner. Since this somewhat subjective that is about the best you can do.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
