Antiviruses softwares

can anyone plz tell me which is the best anti virus. I commonly use usb devices and always infect my system. i don't use internet frequently. Plz a little help will be appreciated.

ok will Avast detect USB viruses as well. My basic use of computing is Video Editing and capturing. I do not use internet. And also can i download the Avast update from my office net and later install in my home computer is this possible as well

You need an internet connection to keep any anti-virus software up to date....and to register the software.....even free software like Avast needs an internet connection to register it.

Ok. that means i have to get net at my home as well. I use to have norton corporative edition 10 in which i was able to download the update at office and then install it at home computer.

There might be a way to do it without a connection like you did it before but I've never thought about it actually. It might be possible....you never know.

Most of your AVs will have a place on their website where you can download the daily updates as a single file and install it on an offline computer. It isn't the recommended way of keeping up to date but it works.
