I created a presentation for uni and the footage was shot of a HDV cam at 1080i and so I kept the whole thing at that resolution and played it straight of a PC for the presentation.

However it now needs to be seen whenever its needed off a you tube link and youtube only accepts 100mb files.

So I have tried a heap of different settings in the xvid compression but cant get it down to 100mb.

I have done lots of encoding in MPEG2 but not much in MPEG4, can someone help with some settings that would really drop the file size??

I dont have the file here with me but it I will post back whatever details are needed but it is M2T file and is only 6mins long so surely I can get it to 100mb!

    Thanks for any tips.

Give it to AutoGK to process. You can specify output size. I'd set it to 98MB just in case of a minor size overflow. AutoGK is a really good app, the output should be quite nice.
