    Hello i'm new to this forum but i know a little but about videos.

    ok heres my query:

    I got a video with Audio: PCM 48000Hz stereo 1536Kbps

    but i want it to be AC3 or MP3 audio (preferably MP3)

    i actually re-encoded this video again with WAV audio cause i didn't know how to use MP3 audio.

    The original had MP3 audio, and i wanted to hardcode subs into it. Since the audio was VBR Virtualdub said it would have problems with the sync (i tried and it did) i extracted it and converted a MP3 CBR 112kb then i converted it again to wav.

    I still got the mp3 audio i would like to know how i can put it with the video. I do not like this WAV audio

    If you run it through Avi_Gain_Regular.bat it'll automatically make the audio MP3. Make sure you read the instructions:

    ok dw i got it. I used virtualdub mod---> stream list. Added the mp3. Save as avi. Then i went into it again, deleted the wav stream-->save as avi

    all done!
