  1. Hi people, I've been playing around with many video editing tools like adobe premiere 2 and 3, ulead, windvd creator 2 and 3, and Pinnacle 8 through 11. I take video from my miniDV Camera

But I want to take editing to the next level and this forum seems to have many people with the know-how. What I want to know is, are there any software tools/plug-ins that you would know about that could help change the video from a DV camera source around a little? For example, tools that would help stabilize an image moving too much, or remove grain/provide better color quality ETC. I know about Audio tools and know where to get them, but tools for the image itself, I have been less successful in finding.

I do know that good image quality first starts with the source which in my case would be the camera and perhaps other bits of hardware. But, I want to wait a bit before getting a new camera and would like to practice with some software first if that is even possible.

Links, plug-ins, programs, any suggestion would be great. And for those who can provide me with some suggestions, would these tools generally be used during the capture of the video or after (during editing)?

    Thanks.

  4. Wow, I've tried this program and does more than I Ever thought software could do. This is more than what I was expecting and I obviously won't need more than this. I only scratched the surface of what it can do. It'll take time to understand how all of this works and to familiarize myself with this. And I love how you can install a massive amount of plug-ins.

VirtualDub will honestly be a program I'll be using quite a bit.

Thanks for your reply on this.
