    Hello,
    When I record from my cable HD channels, theres black bars on the sides and the top.
    How do I fix this on my computer so when I play it back it will take up the whole screen on my HD LCD TV?

    Crop and re-encode them to remove it

    Similar issues here with broadcasters wrapping older shows in complete black bordered box's ... it ain't funny

    Avidemux is the way I go

    I figured out how to crop it and apply with the filter.
    How do I output this into a normal mpeg file so I can burn it onto a disc?
