Hello,
We are buying our oldest an XBOX 360 Slim, we have an ACER PC monitor (with no built in speakers, it has an HDMI, VGA AND DVI ports) to play XBOX, and to save space we'd like to use the monitor to watch TV (we have a FIOS HD Set Top Box.)
I have a VGA cord running from the monitor to the XBOX to the speakers. The XBOX runs and plays sound beautifully. I have an HDMI cable from the monitor to the FIOS STB, we have picture... but there is now audio.
My question or possibly several questions..... How do I now get audio?
Our goal here is to have very little cables running everywhere (he has a small room) and not to unplug anything once it's all connected.
