Can someone recommend a good microATX board that support the Intel E8400? Preferably from personal experience and not from reading reviews. Thanks,
    Webster.

I have an E8400 with an ASUS P5KC mobo. Unfortunately, it's full ATX, so it doesn't help.

Just a suggestion, but the Gigabyte Intel MBs are popular. At Newegg, there seems to be seven Micro-ATX MBs listed there that may work with that CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010200280+50001314&name=GIGABYTE

I also have the E8400 but with a Gigabyte P35-DS3L mobo which is ATX. I also suggest getting a Gigabyte mobo but be very careful because some models will not work with the E8400. Some who have the same mobo as me have said they didn't need to flash the mobo bios in order for it to recognize the E8400. I flashed mine anyway just to be sure and it worked fine. If you're looking to overclock the E8400 get a mobo that is capable because not all Intel based mobo's are able to overclock.

I suggest reading the reviews at Newegg on the Gigabyte mobo's because that is how I found out whether or not my mobo would be recognized by the E8400 cpu. There are newer models from Gigabyte that you could look into as well. I have my E8400 overclocked to 3.4ghz that's at full load with the cpu temps between 24c - 27c. Just my 2 cents.
