Hi,
I recently acquired a set of DVD discs, which are 'NTSC' & 'Region 1'.
They play back fine on both of my region unlocked DVD players; although the players & TVs are UK PAL format.
That is, they play back fine until the final chapter on each disc. The discs seem to 'end' prematurely, the last few minutes of each disc seems inaccessable. I am pretty sure these are not bootleg discs, and it happens on 2 different players.
I have searched, and can't see this as being a common problem. Any ideas of what might be going on?
Thanks!

Can you see the ending on your PC, or if you rip them and run just the final VOBs ?
The same thing happens when I play back on the PC, using PowerDVD. The last few minutes are 'missing'.
Also, when ripping the VOBs to hard disk, the first 3 episodes are 45min long, but the last one only 40min, and sure enough, playing them on hard disk gives the same problem. The last 5 mins is either missing or unreadable
