    I want to wipe my hard drive clean and start fresh... Is there a way I can save my various presets in Vegas?

    There is a tool that is a freebie from Sony to transfer all your presets to a safe place, then back again. It is called the Preset Manager, and you can download a copy here : http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/utilities. It saves presets from Vegas and Sound Forge.
