I have a Toshiba laptop, 8 months old, and the burner has stopped recognizing stuff. It's fine with ANY CD format, blank or recorded/store bought.
But for DVD..only will see blank DVDR, but not blank dual layer, nor any DVD with material on it...either burned or store bought. This smells like a firmware or conflict issue, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.
Any ideas or sites? I checked Tosh's website but it was useless.
