  1. Help. I used to use DVD cover software a couple of years and several drive formats back.

It had built in templates for slim line, standard and double through 10 nor 12 wide DVD cases. I have completely forgotten the name of the software and seem to be unable to find it.

So I'm hoping someone can suggest so software for various size case covers. I'd like it to let me use a background image and overlay text.

At this time money has become a issue so low cost or free is a definate plus.

    Many Thanks
    Roger

I just use PhotoShop and cool images I find on the net...
multi disc cases are not all standard sizes, and the spine width varies depending on who you buy from/who made them.

I use Photoshop, but I find online images to bee too low of a print quality. Most all of my art is made from scans of already-printed materials, or photos/graphics done on my own.

Photoshop Elements is only $99, and it's often on sale in the $49-79 range. I see it for sale at least once a month at one store or another.

If nothing else, download a trial for 30 days, use it for a month.

  7. Thanks LS, I'll have to look into that as want to be able to create my own covers.

I was sort of hoping there was something with predefined templates that would let me work easily and avoid having to learn still another application. Oh well.

Not all cases are equal. Measure them with a ruler, and then go to FILE -> NEW and set the dimensions. It's really easy. Templates aren't needed.
